Today, I am going to talk about the top 10 websites that I recommend for anyone buying tea in general from online in the UK!
These websites are both a mixture of my recommendations on my personal opinion, of course, you may think differently but this purely down to my knowledge and experience with these companies! Another thing to note is that some tea companies will specifically branch out to a specific kind of tea and 1 or 2 in this list apply to that, so be sure to keep that in mind!

T2 offers a great variety of blends of tea, they specialise in creating all sorts of beautiful and tasty blends that are all different in their style and have different purposes. Most of their blends on their website vary from having blends of tea to help you feel energized, some for going to bed, some for feeling refreshed and some just purely for the taste!
Their teas are great in taste, in fact T2 was one of the first tea companies that brought me into the world of tea!
Most of their teas are great quality but do keep in mind that most if not all of their teas are blends and with that sometimes comes flavourings so do be careful if you are a more organic tea buyer out there as this may not be the place for you.
9. The Tea Makers Of London - https://www.theteamakers.co.uk/
The Tea Makers Of London offer a great variety of good quality tea at a good price in the UK. Most of their teas are specially chosen from tea farms across Asia and a lot of their blends are fabulous to try!
The tea is good quality but do not expect them to be a premium brand, as although the logo and website/name may look it, the quality actually isn't top-notch however that's not to say that you shouldn't buy from them. Most of their teas are good but don't expect a premium experience.

KotoTea is one of the best premium tea brands from Japan and offers great tea as its a family run business. All of their teas are green teas only due to the fact that Japan has the best green teas out there in the world.
However, please note that the only reason this is higher up in the list is purely because of the variety, however the quality is fantastic. But also do keep in mind this is coming from Japan and it may take a while!
7. Yunnan Sourcing - https://yunnansourcing.com/
Yunnan Sourcing is one of the best places to buy Chinese tea online. The quality is hands down amazing and the pricing is very good as well for the quantity.
The only downside is that the shipping costs can sometimes be quite expensive and it does take a while to come if you live in the UK. But other than that, if you are interested in buying some fantastic quality Chinese tea, I would totally recommend Yunnan Sourcing!
6. Sazen Tea - https://www.sazentea.com/en/
Sazen Tea is a Japanese based tea company that offers some of the best quality tea out there from Japan, China and Taiwan! They have a lot of premium quality tea that tastes fantastic, and with all the different types of green teas that they offer, you will be stuck on what to choose from!
However, due to the fact that this is based in Japan, shipping costs can be a bit expensive whilst the delivery may take a while to come to the UK, but with that being said, quality is the best thing to think of when buying tea and Sazen is one of the best places to go to buy Japanese tea!
5. BitterLeaf Teas - https://www.bitterleafteas.com/
BitterLeaf offers great quality Chinese tea at a premium price but the same goes for the quality in being premium!
BitterLeaf, however, does only specialise in Puerh teas, they do sell other kinds but Puerh is their main priority. However, with that being said BitterLeaf teas are honestly out of this world in terms of the quality and their website design is beautiful!
4. Crimson Lotus Tea - https://crimsonlotustea.com/
Crimson Lotus Tea, specialise in only Puerh teas strictly, however, they are based in China and offer some of the best Puerh teas out there. Although its only Puerh that they sell, if you have never tried it, I would totally recommend Crimson Lotus Tea, however, the prices are quite high but do keep in mind that you are getting the best quality out there!
Shipping, however, may take longer as it is based in China.
3. Mei Leaf - https://meileaf.com/
Mei Leaf offers a wide variety of teas that are both great in quality and price! But with that being said, Mei Leaf offers hands down some of the best teas out there, and its based in the UK meaning shipping is nothing, you can even go and pick up your order if you want if you are near Camden where they are based!
Mei Leaf truly has a premium quality to it, although one thing to note is that the quantity of tea is not a lot for the price you are paying for, however then again these teas are outstanding in quality.

KUURA is an Australian based tea company that offers high-quality premium tea at a decent price. They offer several kinds of teas but do specialise in Puerhs.
With KUURA the quality is outstanding and the packaging for some of their Puerh cakes are amazing!
And... 1. What-Cha - https://what-cha.com/
What-Cha is a UK based tea company that offers, in my opinion, some of the best quality tea hands down. They import their teas from all over the world but most importantly have a huge variety of teas of which are all amazing quality!
I personally buy from them on a monthly basis due to the fact that their teas are amazing! With new teas coming into their stock, you will always rest assured to find something you like!
