Today, I talk about the top 10 websites that I recommend for anyone buying teaware online!
These websites are a mixture of my recommendations to buy most Chinese, Japanese and western teaware. These sites are going to be a mixture of high cost and low cost so please do keep in mind that some of the sites will be showcasing heavily expensive teaware but this is due to the premium quality that they offer which is why I recommend them.
In some of the generic sites, I will be sure to include some shop names or companies that I recommend to them.
10. Amazon - www.Amazon.co.uk

Amazon although it's a generic shopping site, is a very nice place for buying teaware at a cheap cost. Amazon has sellers on their site that vary in their quality of teaware so I would be cautious and making sure that you look at the company's reviews on the site before you buy from them. However, some trusted brands that I have bought from in the past are the following:
The Exotic Teapot - https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/node/1758220031?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=The%20Exotic%20Teapot&ref_=bl_dp_s_web_1758220031
The Tea Makers of London - https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/node/1650918031?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=The%20Tea%20Makers%20of%20London&ref_=bl_dp_s_web_1650918031
Overall, if I am honest it is not the greatest place for specifically teaware but if you want to try and grab some average western teaware at a cheap cost, I would say go for it as long you're not spending too much money.

T2 has some great western teaware that serves for many kinds of brewing with a nice modern twist on their products that are both practical and look good. For many newcomers to tea out there, I would recommend visiting T2 in a shop or on their website to buy some of their teaware to start off with as they are both a highly reputable company as well as a trusted company.
However, one thing to note is that most of their teaware is going to be quite pricey. Again T2 is not for the kind of audience that wants to pay cheaply due to its modern twist and trend on their products and tea however with that being said, they offer a premium service at a decent price with their products in quality being good.
Overall, I would definitely recommend T2 for some western teaware but just keep in mind that they are a little bit pricey and for some people, it may not be for them due to their pricing or overall designs on their products.
8. Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/uk/

Etsy is a great place to buy a mixture of Western, Chinese and Japanese teawares due to the fact that it's not companies but more people individually that are making their own independent shops. Many shops on their sell traditional handmade teawares from a variety of sizes, shapes, and designs. In fact, I have bought many of my teawares from Etsy from several shops based all over the world for a decent price.
The only downside to Etsy is that a lot of their teaware and shops on their site is quite expensive due to the fact that most sellers are hand making the teapots and individually shipping and designing their own packaging. But in my opinion, I feel like the quality you get through buying from independent sellers is vastly more appropriate and healthy for independent artists to make a living and the quality is much better in most cases. Some sellers I usually buy from are the following:
Overall, Etsy is a great place to buy most teawares but if you are looking for a more affordable option, I would not totally recommend Etsy.
7. MEI Leaf - https://meileaf.com/teawares/

Mei Leaf is a great place to buy authentic, premium quality teaware from. A lot of their choices do change regularly and aren't always in stock due to all of their teawares are handmade and shipped from their home origin countries like Japan, China, and Vietnam.
Mei Leaf has great quality teawares however the pricing can be very expensive and in my opinion, is very highly-priced for people to buy from however at the same token the quality and research gone into their products revives that price to know that you are getting quality.
Overall, I totally recommend Mei Leaf to those out there who want to get quality products for a premium price for special occasions or gifts however if you are looking for more western teaware or cheaper I would not think about going there.

Kettl is a handmade artisan tea/teaware company that offers some fantastic Japanese teaware that are great in quality and provides a satisfying authenticity in their background history and story of being made.
Although the pricing on Kettl for their products is very expensive once again, the quality in teaware is more important than the cheapness of it if you want something that is going to last well.
Overall, for specifically Japanese teaware Kettl are a great company but the only downside is, of course, the pricing but also the product range is not too extensive so it may not be a great place to buy from if you like certain styled teawares.
5. TablinStore - https://www.tablinstore.info/product-list/13

Tablinstore has a huge wide range and variety of teapots specifically orientating from Japan that are all handmade. They also not only sell just teapots, but they have a huge range of products for teaware of any kind from Japan.
The pricing is a lot more affordable compared to some of the previous sites however at the same token, what's special about Tablinstore is their range of handmade products so most of their products fit for most kinds of people with their styles that they like.
Overall, the product range, quality, and overall pricing are great for buying authentic Japanese teaware.
4. Koto Tea - https://kototea.com/product-category/tea-pot/

Koto Tea sells proper authentic Japanese teaware, they offer a premium service with kind staff members such as the shop owner Yuko to help you in what to choose or simply to ask any questions.
Their authentic products are all handmade from artisan makers from Japan and they even showcase a bit of information based on the origin and the groups of artisan makers who made your teaware which makes the whole attitude to buying from them really nice due to the quality and reassurance that the products are made with care.
Overall, I would totally recommend Koto Tea for Japanese teaware, however, the overall pricing is very high with shipping charges as well not included it can seem quite daunting to buy from them especially if you are not from Japan, however again the quality is unbeatable and comforts for the reasoning on the price.
3. Crimson Lotus Tea - https://crimsonlotustea.com/collections/tea-wares

Crimson Lotus tea offers a variety of Chinese teawares that are all primarily handmade and get this... the best part is that it's not too expensive! For the quality of handmade teaware products, at a decent price is something hard to compete with within the tea industry.
Crimson Lotus offers a variety of handmade Chinese clay teapots, and in fact, I have my very own one and use it to this day and is my most recent purchase for teaware at this current date of time. The quality is fantastic and the premium price is at a lower cost than usual which is also a plus!
The teapot I have bought from them is the following and highly recommend it: https://crimsonlotustea.com/collections/teapots/products/brown-jianshui-zitao-teapot-xishi-style-120ml-free-shipping
Overall, I highly recommend Crimson Lotus tea, if you are considering in buying authentic, decent priced handmade teaware.
2. ArtisticNippon - https://www.artisticnippon.com/index.html

ArtisticNippon is one of the best sites to buy truly authentic handmade Japanese teaware from, although the site may look quite dodgy or underrun, it truly is a hidden gem in the teaware market for buying traditional handmade teaware that is made from independent artists from most Asian countries.
The site is truly a wonderful place to visit and see all the styles that most teaware artisan makers create their artwork within the teaware. The quality is hands down fantastic and really is special when you buy something you know is actually handmade unlike other websites (please note, that the websites listed in this top 10 list are authentic except some certain shops who mass produce of course.).
Overall, I totally recommend ArtisticNippon and their products due to their quality and authenticity with their traditional ways of using true skill and talent in teaware artists that make teawares for a living. However please note that the prices can be EXTREME.
And... for number one...
1. Sazen Tea - https://www.sazentea.com/en/products/c15-teapot

Sazen Tea is one of the best hands down places in my opinion to buy authentic, handmade, powerful, Japanese teaware that is truly remarkable. The quality alone in the products is great but what is also good with Sazen Tea is at how they are an online shop that is decently priced for the quality and at the same time is a good online shopfront that offers good quality service and trusted reputation.
I have bought a few things from Sazen Tea, and not only are the products fantastic, but i felt that what I bought was truly handmade and it was nice to see detailed descriptions of the artist-makers of the teapots as that gave me an extra boost like Koto Tea did in knowing that this is genuinely handmade.
Overall, if you are looking for a fantastic Japanese quality teapots. Sazen Tea is hands down one of if not, in my opinion, the best Japanese teaware shop online.
So that's my top 10 list for the best online teaware shops for selling a variety of teaware including Western, Chinese and Japanese teaware.
Keep drinking loose leaf, stay away from those teabags and I hope you can enjoy your new teaware!
