Introduction about T2:
T2 is one of the more modern, trendy and new tea companies that started in Australia but has its shops all over the world in Europe, Asia, and America. They serve all kinds of teas in their own unique style with handmade blends from the company serving all kinds of needs in taste! Whether you want a nice refreshing cup of tea, or a calming blend, to a nutty and rich chocolatey taste, T2 has got you covered. On top of selling teas, T2 sells teawares, gifts, and even features recipe lists on their website as well as in their shops.
T2 has a very easy to read and use website that offers guidance on helping those who do not know much about tea in general as well as what teas to buy from their site with their handy dandy refining filter when searching to buy their teas, so you can boil down what tea or teas to buy based on their flavour profile, type, style, pricing or even what teas go well with.
My personal journey with T2/the quality of their teas:
I personally discovered T2 when I first started getting into tea at the stage when in my tea journey where I bought loose leaf tea, and I was shocked to find such a modern, trendy and unique tea company as at the time of not knowing much about tea, I assumed most if not all tea companies are just boring, old and all the same. I remember trying one of their fruit teas as my first, "Pumping Pomegranate" as my first tea which was as you guessed in the name, a fruit blend. It was a wonderful tea that I loved to death and bought tons of it throughout my years of drinking tea and still to this day however there are still tons of other teas that I love from them too but that list would go on forever.
Moving onto the quality of their teas, I think overall they are decent for their pricing. They offer a wide range variety of various different types of teas such as black, white, green, herbal or oolong and others, however, they don't have Puerh which makes sense as their targetted audience is intended within the market of tea for people who may not know too much about tea but want to try and get into it. They are in no way by means a "premium" brand to me but they are above average due to their overall knowledge and thought put into their teas that are being sold.

Pricing and Packaging thoughts:
The pricing is obviously different depending on which tea you buy but on top of this, the amount of tea is another factor of course in the price, as well as the packaging but also whether you want the teas in bags or in loose-leaf form. Some of their teas cost anywhere from around £3-£8 typically for 100 grams of tea all the way up to £28/£30 for 50-200+ grams of tea. However, do keep in mind that this estimate of pricing is based on all of their teas at this current moment in time and the current sales that are on. Usually, if tea is on sale they will cost near half the price of the original price as shown in most of their sales. Overall, the pricing is very good considering the quality and overall taste most importantly for their teas. However, one thing to note is that most of their teas, when placed in higher quality packaging for gifts, will cost you more, so don't expect a difference in taste if the price is higher, some teas like Matcha cost more but that doesn't mean they will taste better than an £8 black tea on their site because they are different teas with different tastes/processing gone into them.

The packaging for their cheapest option for most of their teas to buy from is in an iconic cube style cardboard box which is cute and actually works very well to store rather than bags. However, once the box is open, you find that the tea you bought is just wrapped in a plastic film with no easy way of keeping the smell and taste intact even when closing the lid of the box because it's not airtight. So do keep this in mind when buying their cheaper options for packaging. With that being said, there can be easy ways of getting around this via just buying some cheap resealable sandwich bags for storing them to keep the teas fresher for longer. Overall, the quality of their packaging could be improved but on their expensive options for their gifts, the packaging is of fantastic quality.
My thoughts on the brand's values/purpose:
After buying tea from T2 over the past year or so it's clear to me that T2 has a dedicated brand that not only sells tea for money of course but it's clear that it has a great passion and attitude in trying to get new people who don't like tea or haven't really gone in-depth on it to try it more and get them to like it which is always a great thing! Although they are a multinational company, they are one of those out there that provides good quality service, products, and information for people out there. I think personally that T2 is a great tea company for those who are experienced with tea or not, it's a great place to buy from and it's nice to know that you have the gratification of their tea coming from above-average standards.
Now whilst this review has been mainly positive, I will point out the few things I don't like about T2's brand as a whole. Firstly, you have to understand that the tea is good in its quality however do not expect to receive the finest tea if you are an experienced tea addict, you will find that most of their teas are blends, and with blends, most of the time comes added with flavourings to boost the kick out of the tea but in some cases, this is not a good thing.
Flavoured tea or blends of tea that have flavourings in them are completely fine to drink of course but if you are looking for the true definition of what a particular type of tea tastes like I would recommend you buy their specific types of tea rather than their blends or look elsewhere. Their attitude in trying to create these blends are great but it can be offputting to those out there who are new to tea as the blends can sometimes taste artificial and creates a false picture of what tea actually is and tastes like.
Finally, T2 as a brand in a whole has positive values that are to serve tea and introduce people to the tea culture but just keep an open mind when drinking their tea that this is not pure, most of their blends are packed with taste flavourings to make them seem interesting or taste better but as I said already, their teas aren't as pure as you think.
Overall conclusion:
T2 as a brand provides great tea at an affordable price. For those out there who may not know much about tea, this brand is perfect to go to as they offer a good representation of a modern tea brand that provides tasty tea blends that most people nowadays will enjoy. However for those out there who know about tea and have an acquired taste, I would recommend if you fancy an interesting blend go for it, but if you want to purchase pure and high-quality tea, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Although that being said as a whole I think T2 is a great tea brand.
Thank you for reading my review, and I hope you have learnt something from it! In-conclusion, T2 is getting my thumbs up!
Rating:
I am rating T2 at 4/5 tea cups!
